It began as a family recipe. A homemade, gourmet garlic and bean dip that was brought to parties to be enjoyed by family and friends alike. One friend liked our homous so much she suggested we sell it at the store where she worked. All we needed was a name and a logo and so “Holy Homous” was born.
“Holy Homous” quickly became a favourite among shoppers and soon a second store was carrying our product, followed by a third. The next thing we knew it was being carried in over 50 stores throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
23 years later, we still adhere to the original recipe that was loved by our friends and family and we (still) make every batch by hand. It is quite literally made fresh daily so that it can be in your fridge as fresh as possible. Local, fresh, healthy and delicious. That is what Holy Homous means to us and we are happy to share it with you.
